Edward Muungamaji

Mfalme Edward katika kiti cha enzi.

Edward Muungamadini (kwa Kiingereza: Edward the Confessor; takriban 1003 – 5 Januari 1066) alikuwa mfalme wa Uingereza kuanzia mwaka 1042 hadi kifo chake.

Kama mfalme hakuwa na nguvu ya kutawala lakini maisha yake ya Kikristo yalikuwa mfano mwema kabisa. Alipendwa sana na raia zake kwa upendo aliokuwa nao, alidumisha amani nchini akastawisha ushirika na Kanisa la Roma.

Mwaka 1161 alitangazwa kuwa mtakatifu.

Sikukuu yake ni tarehe ya kifo chake au 13 Oktoba.
